Greetings Battlelords Of The Twenty-Third Century Universe! Greetings One and All. Changes are underway and the news is good. First, as many of you already know, we are very pleased to be in open beta mode and racing for the final push as we integrate code and customized battle scenarios before our much over due launch. Our new VPS servers are flush with dedicated resources and fully powered up waiting for final countdown. Our team of coders, writers and artists are just amazing. The energy and commitment they have given to this project has been truly unparalleled and there is no end to their immense creativity and dedication in sight. To everyone who has been so instrumental in helping us test and improve Battlelords with their always kind feedback and suggestions, all I can say is, Thanks! Help get Battlelords of the Twenty-Third Century carried by Alliance

It's a shame, that not everyone knows of Battlelords of the 23rd Century. Currently it's not carried by Alliance. Alliance is one of the main distributors of books of this material. We love our Battlelords of the Twenty-Third Franchise and want every aspect of it to succeed, they are developed by SSDC. They have provided the inspiration for all we do here. Facebook Application Enters Beta

Our Facebook App, Battlelords of the Twenty-Third Century We have just released it as a Beta Release. Some updates also during this release. New Features In: Base of Ops - Rentals and Vehicles You should be able to start earning enough credits to buy your own vehicle and property to rent out. Both open up you to a few more quests. Bug Fixes: 'Login/logout issue' should be fixed. Once the sessions reset you should no longer get prompts to 'Login' if you do please click refresh. Minor fixes are going on to correct change in width to the canvas to many pages. Battle page is still a WIP since it requires big changes to Graphics. Bug Fixes: Tutorial has been properly resized. More coming later today.

We launch our Comic – What the Fott!

Our Webcomic started when we had a fun idea to make a comic based in the Battlelords of the Twenty-Third Century® universe and it's various species and unique characters that exist in it. Our Main character is a Fott, a humanoid species, that could be said to resemble rabbits of earth. However it is the 23rd century, surely they aren't related. Cera and her 'Smart Gun' grew out of a concept for a Battlelords animated series pitch we put together in late 2010. Now in 2011, we finally making it happen, as regular issue usually once a week. You can Learn more about those behind the comic visiting their team page. Cera was a friend of the main character. The web comic is Cera’s story and her life on the war torn planet of Trell. Once we realized her weapon was a Smart Gun that should talk everything started to fall into place. Visit What the Fott!

Some Reviews hitting the web, Highlighting SSDC, has updated the Paperback (original) version of Battlelords of the Twenty-Third Century. We love the new editions, it has really helped shape Battlelords and certainly made development and progress easier with it being PDF form too!So we though to share this with you! and we will welcome to see more of this, so if you love the Battlelords Francise and follow it, feel free to talk about it, we will eventually find it and link to you!

Thoughts on the Rice Alliance Conference, Austin TX

The Austin Texas chapter of the Rice Alliance conducted a conference for "Technology and Entrepreneurship" last evening November 9th at the AT&T center that I had the pleasure to attend. Having a conference like this in Austin seems to make perfect sense. As though it belonged. Austin's unofficial city motto is the decades old, affectionately spoken – "Keep Austin Weird". If not overtly weird, it certainly was uber-casual and diverse. I wasn't the only game maker with my hair tied back in a tail. Clearly a room full of game producers, publishers, artists, coders and yes - even a couple of high profile Angels. The panel was out of this world. One of them, quite literally had actually been out-of-this-world. The 90+ minute Q&A was anything but casual. As any game maker knows, there is nothing casual about making games. Questions flew at the panel from within the very large packed conference room. They answered everyone with depth, humor and uncommon enthusiasm. The panelists to a person truly enjoyed being there. Further evident by how long they lingered and talked with attendees afterward. It was a good and important gathering rich with tips, ideas and real world perspective on the art of making games today and tomorrow. Special thanks to Snakehead Software CEO Gerald Bailey.
